The whole Truth...?

"Sometimes because of pride or ego or a mistaken idea, one person may not confide in another or tell them the whole truth. Have you ever been in a situation in which you didn’t want the other person to know something about you? You had something you wanted to keep secret? How did you act? Did the other person realize you were hiding something? How did your behavior change the way they acted toward you?"

I don't remember a time when I have ever had something to hide. The only secrets i have kept have been secrets like, what i am getting that person for christmas, or else something that they will find out later.
I am pretty sure that most of my good friends know pretty much everything about me. I usually don't ever hide something from them unless it will hurt them or myself if i tell them. I think that when you are honest with your friends then you become closer together and your friendship continues for a long time. It isn't healthy to keep secrets, that is why i try not to. Secrets just end up hurting someone.

Halloween costume.

"Describe your best or worst Halloween costume ever. Use lots of details and explain why it was so awesome or lame. "

My best halloween costume was probably when i was a little girl.
My mom made me a little skirt and shirt out of a material with star print on it. She also made a huge star to go around my head, I felt so special! And even though the star was extremly itchy I bore it because i felt like such a 'STAR!!!'

The Top Ten Books for Teens.

I have never read any of the top ten books although I am on my way to reading Breaking Dawn because I am on Eclipse right now.
I chose to look up the City of Ashes, i read the summary and it sounds like a really interesting book, full of excitment and Drama. it sounded like an intense read and i think that i would like to read this book because i like books that have a lot of intese stuff in them, i like to be exited!
the city of ashes is about vapires and stuff and it sounds really cool, not really dumb like the Twilight books.
I really might read this book.

Edgar Allen Poe

"If you have not read Poe or don't remember, describe to me what you expect from a classic horror writer? What kinds of stories do you think we'll be reading? Have you ever read scary stories?"

I have never read any of edgar allen poe's works. I expect some pretty scary stories from such a famous horror writer. I think that we will be reading some mysteries and some halloweenish type stories. I have read only one really scary book before, it was a sherlock holmes mystery, "The Hound of the Baskervilles", it was pretty scary, so scary that I was to scared to read it at night. that is a pretty scary story.

Eyes

"Have you ever studied a skunk's eyes? Write about some item you find beauty in that many others might not."

I have never looked into a skunks eyes, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were very beautiful. One thing that I find beautiful that others might not are my eyes. I actually think my eyes are very beautiful, others might not see it but I do and thats all that counts right?

Secrets

"Have you ever known a secret that you thought you should tell? Did you tell? If you've never experienced this, what do you think it would be like to know a secret that you think is dangerous?"

I have known a secret that I thought I should tell, but I didn't tell because I didn't want to betray the persons trust. I would never tell a secret without the person, who's secret it is, permission. I have told secrets to some of my trusted friends and they have told them to the only person i didn't want them to tell them to, to me that person is now very untrustworthy and I never will tell them a secret again. I also don't want my friends to think that i am untrustworthy because I hate when people are and i don't want them to feel unsafe telling me their secrets.

Juliet's Journal

Today my greatest dream became a reality! I AM MARRIED! Romeo and i are now, by law, married! WOW! It all happend so fast, we only met yesterday, but he is so perfect. I almost gag when I think of how close I got to marrrying Paris, I mean, he's nice and all, but I could have never married him.

Mother and Father don't know yet and I am not sure how i will tell them. They both wanted me to be happy in my marriage but i don't know if they will accept Romeo. I know that our families are sworn enemies but I hope that our marriage will bring our families together. If i dosen't I don't know what will happen to Romeo and I.
A Newly Wed,
Juliet.

Fate

"Do you believe in Fate? Are there certain things in life that, once set in motion, are inevitable; things that cannot be stopped once they are started? The story of Romeo and Juliet implies that the path of their love and what happens to them is part of Fate's plan. Do you think this is possible?"

I don't think that fate is real, people just blame things on fate because they don't know who to blame it on. There are some things that can't be stoped once they are started like addictions, they can be stopped but not if you don't try to stop them.

I think that the story of Romeo and Juliet wasn't part of "fate's" plan, like I said fate is just an excuse when things go wrong or even right. Romeo and Juliet acted on what they thought was right and they faced the concequences of their actions. Fate had nothing to do with it.

Romeo's Journal

Today me and my buddy Benvolio found out that The Capulets were throwing a party for their daughter and some guy named Paris (Interesting name). Aparently he has asked her for her hand in marriage, good for her. Benvolio and I decided that we would go to this party, mostly because the wonderfully BEAUTIFUL Rosaline will be there. I can't wait, this will be great, I just hope that the Capulets don't notice who I am, that would be disasterous.
A Love Sick "Man",

True Love...

"Define true love. Do you believe it exists?(Hint: have you ever seen it? give an example. Why do you believe/not believe in it?)"

True love is a funny thing, i have never seen it really exist in real life, mostly in books or movies. When two people are in love, is it really "true" love? or just love? I don't really believe in it i guess. I don't really know, hard question.

Super Power!

"If you had one superpower, what would it be and why? (Hint: describe exactly what your power would be, why you would want that one, what you would use your power for, etc. Would you be good or evil? Would you use it just for fun or for a good cause?)"

If I had a super power I would probably want to be able to read peoples minds. This power would be awesome for my own life because sometimes when I am talking to different people I can't tell if they are telling me the truth. I would use it for good, and I could even maybe help the government if they need my help.

Even though this power would be really cool I think that after a while I wouldn't like it anymore, because it would take the guessing out of life, it would take the joy out of anticipation. And if the power couldn't just go away after a while i would want to learn how to control it or not use it at select times. The main reason for this is that every time I tryout for a play or a musical I love the anticipation, the nerve racking wait to find out if I made it into the producion.

Shakespeare

What comes to your mind when you hear the words, "Now we're going to read Shakespeare!" Do you cringe in fear? Do you giggle with glee? What past experiences have you had with Shakespeare to make you react the way you do?

I acctually like Shakespeare. In the past I have been in 3 Shakespeare plays; Much Ado about Nothing, Twelfth Night, and The Taming of the Shrew. I have also been in a Shakespeare Class three years in a row, during that class I read many of his plays and we also took a fieldtrip down to Ceder City to see some of the plays down there.

Shakespeare is really cool!I love the language and I love the Characters. I am very excited to be reading Shakespeare in English this Year.
